A significant portion of my M.A. program was spent conducting research. Most of the time, I was able to select the topic I wanted to conduct research on. Researching a topic I wanted to learn about made me more curious to find more information. Thanks to the UALR library, I was able to access the necessary scholarly journals and articles and also learn how to conduct proper searches within a database. I now feel confident locating materials for research, whether it be for a paper, annotated bibliography, or a proposal. If I'm given qualitative data (ex. interview transcript) I am able to code it using several different methods.
